This video was made to get the word out about the consequences for animals in violent households (family violence, domestic abuse). About 70 percent of animal abuse occurs in this context. Kids grow up and repeat the cycle. Some people can and will over come this and not repeat the cycle.
Buck Brannaman and Monty Roberts both grew up with brutal fathers but beat the odds. They are the exceptions. It can be a generational thing. Animal abuse is a big red flag for psychopathy.
