Two teams for the Stampede Ranch Rodeo this year! The annual ranch rodeo at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Corsican, TX, was a fun time for the Cow Camp Cowboy Church group. Ranch Rodeo was held Sept 14 and 15th 2012 Friday night was main ranch rodeo and Saturday was a time to earn extra points for the teams with team roping, barrel racing, team sorting and mounted shooting.
Cow Camp Cowboy Church had two teams this year an all women’s team and a men’s team. The women’s team was made up of Traci Davis, Laurel Davis, Sandy Hodge and Lacy Stuart. The men’s team was Tom Davis, James McDaniel, Frank Johnson and Justin Johnson. The teams did 4 event Friday night, they included sorting, double muggin, ranch doctoring and branding. Both teams had fun and did well. On Saturday we had more then just the two teams participating in the extra events. Of course our favorite is team sorting and everyone had a great time at that!
